WESTERN ELECTRIC 855 A TYPE CUTTER PRESSER This 855A tool is manual operated, tandem double mandrel tool designed to permit double half-tapping of equipment cables to insert new features or extend cable lengths. It consists of 4 wire fanning combs, 4 movable forming posts, 2 sets of mandrel retainers, 2 wire retaing springs, and a removable stuffer. The stuffer head is used to press the wires simultaneously into the mandrels. The tool may be clamped to the support rod and at slice location with a 710A mounting hardware.
