5" wide x 96" long 1/28" thick 23 consecutive leafs 76 Sq. Ft. Total This veneer is premium grade very flat and consistant. It has a reddish brown color and a beautiful ribbon strip grain pattern. It is excellent for furniture, architectural woodwork or unique projects. The width measurement is made in the middle of the leaf and has slight taper. The first picture shows 3 leafs, slip matched together. The last picture shows a finished piece with reverse diamond pattern doors. As I hope you can see, this veneer finishes beautifully, either a filled finish, (holds the paste wood filler well) or an open finish without having that "hairy" look that a lot of mahogany has38. The texture between the ribbon is very consistant, and it can be scrapped easily for a clean, crisp finish. The veneer is narrow which is typical for this species, but it is very supple and makes very clean, sweet seams. This veneer is in very good condition, but should only be purchased by someone who has the knowledge and equipment necessary to handle veneer successfully.
